Is every bottle actually worth more than I paid for it?
At retail, yes. We buy at distributor pricing, so we can fill cases where every bottle retails for at least the price you paid for it. Some just barely clear it, some are worth multiples. That spread is what makes it fun.
How is this different from a wine club?
Wine clubs send you whatever they picked. This is random. You know you're beating retail on every bottle — the fun is not knowing by how much.
Where do you ship?
Wherever DTC wine shipping is legal. You need to be 21+ and someone 21+ has to sign for it.
How are my bottles chosen?
Each case has a published set of odds. Your bottles are drawn at random from that pool, and every bottle in the pool retails for at least the price per bottle. The odds calculator on each case shows your chances.
Will there be live rips?
Live rips are coming later. For now you open your case digitally, then we ship the bottles you keep.
How does sell-back work?
If you don't want a bottle once you've opened your case, we'll buy it back for 80% of its value on our platform. A bottle's platform value is the price we list it at, which is set below typical retail prices. We record it when we pack your case and show it next to each bottle when you open it.
What if I get a bottle I don't want?
When you open your case, choose sell back instead of ship. We buy it back for 80% of its value on our platform. Or have it shipped and give it away.
